Columbine?

This also is another flower we got from my wifes boss. I believe it is a columbine but not positive. Do you know if this is what this flower is? Thanks. The flower tends to lean down towards the ground. The flowers are on top of a tall stem maybe 2 to 2 1/2 foot tall stem.

I don't know what it is, but I know it's not a columbine.
At least, it's not any columbine I've ever seen! My vote would be Jacob's Ladder, although I've only seen a couple with white flowers. Lovely!

Okay then check out one of my other discussions that I think that plant is a Jacobs Ladder. I am so cornfused now.

I don't know, Bob. I just searched and every picture I can come up with has the outer/back petals in a star shape, and the inner ones more rounded. That characteristic seems to be apparent in the various types/colors of columbine.

Well then I have no idea. I do recall getting a
Columbine and jacobs ladder from him anyhow. HAHAHA!!

This is not Columbine. It is Polemonium. They are very beautiful and a touch to a flower bed.

That looks more like some kind of lily. I've included a photo of the columbine flower that I know of.
Could you get a picture of the whole plant? It might be easier to find out what it is if we could see the leaves and the base of the plant.
