Finally! A right-handed starter! Poor kid. First start of his major league career and he only lasts two and a third innings. He also gave up two three run homeruns, as well as a double and a single. All in all, the Rays scored seven runs off of him. Welcome to the Majors, kid!

majors hehehe, sometimes they don't expect the unexpected when it comes to the field. They think its the same as what they use to play in their homes or in the park. Need a lot of practice I think is a good answer for this in a good exercise.

If the poor kid wasn't nervous before the game, he really is nervous now LOL I'm sure it was just first game jitters and the coaches will remind him of that and hopefully some of the older pitchers will relate their first game mishaps as well.

definitely, sometimes I get nervous too specially when courting ladies and it ruin my day.
