mylot star

Hi,
I was recently on mylot, and there appears a star beside my name with the number 8 in it can someone tell me why this is. thanks for the help

Hi friend, congrats you have got a good rating of 8. This is according to our performance in mylot. Based on factors, our quality of discussion, response, sometimes it can decrease when someone - rate us. Achieve your next goal in mylot, 500 post. ATB.

Next goal will be 500 posts, that seems so many but i have posted so many in the last couple days that 500 means nothing.

first of all congratulations on getting your star. i was told that once you get 100 posts you get a star.then the number is your rating. thats how people rate you based on your responses or discussions you start. so keep up the good work.

Thanks. I was wondering what it was for. I am going to start rating people. Do you make any money by rating people or being rated by people?
