teachers college

Is anyone else here currently in teachers college? WHat teachers college do you attend. I am currently attending teachers college and feel so swamped by the work that they have us doing. Most times i find the work very pointless, almost as if it is busy work so they can put a mark down on paper for us.

I'm not an education major. I don't hate myself that much. =) I do have quite a few friends that are education majors, and some of the required projects and studies are quite ridiculous. I couldn't stand to do it.

I am becoming quite sick of it and am wondering how i manage to do it. I feel very stupid at some points with the assignments. Like designing my own classroom to the detail of where the windows and doors are going to go, i am not the builder just the person who decorates the bulletin boards.

I am a teacher now. I graduated a few years ago now. When we graduated we all said that we learned how to BS with our BS. (Bachelor of Science) It's just a bunch of hoops to jump though. Nothing will help you learn how to teach except teaching. Good luck with it all!
