facebook wants to know if you are a male or female

facebook wants you to inform the world whether you are a male or a female, they are asking you to declare yourself, if you dont, you will get a promt to choose whether you would like to be referred as "him" or "her"

I didn't notice that ever!! When I signed up they did ask and I gave my gender. (Are you talking about the registration form??!!) But how does it matter to give away my gender?? lol..

Well I'd love to be reffered to as "Mistress of the Universe"... But I suppose, "she" will have to do for now...

after seeing facebook.com myself, I don't see any message regarding on declaring your a male or female, in fact, there's nothing so special about it.

That is so hilarious. I didn't notice that myself. I guess this is one of the identity to facebook, being nosy that is.
