What In The Name Of God Is Wrong With People Today?

I just watched a video on CNN.com titled A Vow To Attack Rape Victims. http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/crime/2008/06/27/todd.child.rape.rant.cnn After taking a moment to recover from my shock over a man who quite obviously has never known a rape victim, or empathized with their pain, I just have to ask myself... What in the name of all that is holy is wrong with the human race? I understand and respect the fact that every human being is entitled to a great defense. However, threatening a child who has been raped, traumatized and abused with more abuse is unfathomable to me. I would urge the American public to stand together and tell this poor excuse for a man and a lawmaker that his stance in this issue is unacceptable. Crimes of all natures have minimum penalties. What exactly is his issue with a minimum penalty for child rape? http://www.mass.gov/legis/member/jhf1.htm
