I thought it was a really good film, too. I dn't know about the situation being believable, what with the giant monster and all... but the characters reactions to what was happening were very believable. JJ Abrams was the producer, and I usually like his stuff (Alais, Lost).

I didnt really like the movie at all. But I am not into movies of this nature. I would rather watch a movie such as transformers. But i know my grade 6 class completly loved it.

TO be honest, I thought the movie was okay yet pretty boring and the ending wasn't so hot. It definitely was not one of my favorite movies of the year! My boyfriend agrees with me -- he didn't care for the movie either and thought it was boring with an ending that was less than desireable.

I thought is was a an awesome film. I like the marketing for the movie. I spent all last summer trying to find the clues and stuff. The 'game' lasted until the movie opened on the 18th of January. Anyone else catch the satellite falling at the end? Most people don't know this, but that is why the monster woke up.

I thought the story line was really good and creative, it definitely caught my attention and left me in suspense. The only thing that I didn't like about the movie though was the camera style they chose. To me the movie would have been even better if they used still cameras and didn't give an actor a video camera to carry around. I know that it made the movie seem more real, but I just think it would have been a better movie if they only went to the 1st person view SOMETIMES instead of through the entire movie. But then again... The movie makers did a great job at adding special effects to that camera style... I haven't seen anything like it before.
