Now that you are all grown up, probably even married and have kids. Do you still collect toys for yourself? Ones that you do not allow your children to play with. I do collect Metal Cars sizes 1/24 and 1/28. Don't get me wrong here, I buy them their own LOL. Maybe when they are old enough they can play with it too but not now when they are just ages 2 and 6.

I have been collecting Barbies since the mid 90s...and Barbie stuff. Some stuff I actually use, but most of it stays in the box it came in. Things I use are trivial anyway, like socks, bubble bath (save the doll-like bottles tho), toothpaste, and my bathroom caddy.
The collecting is like a co-hobby with my mom.
A family member passed away and her granddaughter-in-law found many NRFB Barbies that she had purchased for her stepdaughter. She and her husband decided to donate them to my collection in memory of the grandmother, Gladys. I liked her, she was a very nice and loving lady, and I'll be very honored to display those dolls in her name when my display room is built on to the house.
