How Many Hours Do You Spend Sitting and Facing Your Computer?

I just noticed this today that I spend a lot of time facing my computer that I tend to forget to exercise. Just last night I had heart palpitations. I put the blame on coffee but also on the fact that I don't move a lot nowadays. I spend at least 4 hours just sitting and facing the computer. Early morning, after breakfast, I sit down and surf the net, then stop at noon to take my lunch. I take a short nap then take a shower, then am back online again until evening. Then i eat, then go back online again.. It's a bad habit and I'm trying to stop it. It's not right.
How about you, how many hours do you spend sitting and facing your computer?

Everyday,i will spend at least 5 hours facing my computer.When i'm working,i still sitting in front of the computer,when i'm free on weekend,i play games or surf the net,so i just can't live without computer,it's my life.
Taking exercise is becoming a history,sitting all day will affect our health,hope we can try our best to correct our not-so-good habit,come on :)

it's going to be a tough battle to stop this habit. Like you I also can't imagine my life without a computer and internet connection..

Not really much. And it depends on a situation. For internet and personal purposes or uses...roughly a total of two hours. For work...because I need to listen to the software of the courses offered in our school...add at least one hour in a day. Take care =)

I spend up to 10 hours a day infront of my computer. I have a really nice seat here at the cae, and really good wireless inernet acces which I only hae to pay a little bit a month for, to my mobile phone compay. I have a great setup in here, so how can I not pend the entire day on my computer? ;-)

I'm usualy on for abou 3 or 4 hours at at time, becaue I have other things to do, like pack and post parcels as I sell online.

i wud love to spend the entire day on mylot only if i cud do so-due to my busy schedule i can hardly spend a hour or so on the net-that is to check my mails,but on weekends if i have no other commitments and fewer patients to attend i do send more than 2 hours on computer.

hmm, I'm not too sure actually on exactly how many hours I spend my time facing my computer. You see, it depends to the works I needed to finished or if I am tired enough to stay working in the computer. But usually, I think 4-5 hours. Yeah, it's kinda bad to have a habit like we have, but well, it's really quite difficult to stay away online or not work in the computer. But can't help it, it become part of my life

i work in a call center company so what do you expect you are infront of the pc for about 8 hours bec.the 1 hour is exclusively for lunch.and when i go home i spend about 3hours more to check my emails,chat and of course mylotting...yipee...so though im thin..i have a tummy that has fats...no exercise...i have a cute,a bit fat tummy and very tired eyes.... lol

What normally do when I get in the morning, I do all my housework, eat tend my hubbie when he is home go to the shops and about 3.30 in the afternoon I'm faceing my comouter, stop to make dinner eat and then I'm on it again till my eyes start to burn, 3,a.ma

Before my school starts, I was the one who could actually face the computer screen for hours without doing any stuff.. and when days go by, i am addictive toward computer.. by which without switching on the system, i will feel uneasy for the rest of the day.
But now, as school has already started, my time with the computer has lessen alot due to the long school hours i have and the pile of homework increasing day by day.. hha
