is calcium tablets good for children?

my son aged 7 has lost his teeth last ocotber, but it was not coming for a long time, then i started giving him calcium since 50 days and the teeth has started coming out, but these days calcium tablets are not readily available at my place, is it ok to give calcium tablets fro mlast years stock which has an expiry date of next year

Forget the calcium tablets. Kids need yugurt, cheeses, some milk or irushill Orange Juce wiht calciumin it, brioccali that has calcium, etc...
gte calcium into your son with REAL foods that have it. And make sure he's out in the sun at least 10-15 minutes a day for the vitamin D, so he can absorb the calcium form the foods well!
Forget the pills. People today are too dependent on pills! (Is that what you want to teach him? Take a pill/fix everything?!)

hi knightrider every one needs calcium and growing children more than the adults.no problems about expiry for this. most of the calcium tablets are nothing but calcium carbonate in different shapes and sizes and flavors added so it is alright . you can use them. add banana to his daily routine and milk products like cheese and yoghurt. you will have the things taken care of.
