...and my jalapeño peppers this year are HOT! I decided to have nachos for breakfast, and I sliced up my first two jalapeños from my garden to add to the delight. Whoa! I think that: a) if I am going to have nachos for breakfast, then b) I better not use this summer's jalapeño crop. So, what did you have for breakfast today? Did you include any fresh fruit or vegetables (and not necessarily peppers)?

I doubt I'd ever have jalapeno peppers for breakfast! I'm growing some, but usually put them in salsa or something that just needa a little "kick". I'm actually having a bowl of leftover spaghetti right now! I'm not a "typical" meal eater. I eat when I'm hungry, and I eat whatever I feel like eating. In a little while I'll be eating some fruit. I love fruit and always have plenty of it. I'm growing fruit trees and berry bushes, but just planted them last year so they aren't producing yet. So, I pick up whatever looks appealing whenever I go to the grocery store. Today, it will probably be pineapple and pears. They've been calling me from the kitchen... "Eat me! Eat me!" so I guess I will. LOL

I aboslutely love jalapenos, but I don't think I could eat them for breakfast! I like to cook with them; I put them in meatloaf, spaghetti, chili and much more. My breakfast this morning was quite dull in comparison to yours. I had a bowl of Raisin Bran cereal and a cup of coffee. You have made me want some nachos, so I may have to see if I have the ingredients to fix nachos for lunch!

I am having brunch today cause I am late with breakfast. So I am having homefries, an omelet with ham and onions, and toast. I decided at the last moment what i wanted to have. Nachos for breakfast sound good too. My peppers are SUPER HOT too but they are not jalapenos I can't remember which pepper plant I picked but I am suspecting it was habaneros cause that is what they look like.
