How would you define "good attitude". Do you think it is something installed in an individual from childhood or learned, or both?

A good attitude is someone who can see the glass as being half full an dtries to find the positive even in a negative situation. Also a person, who even if something negative tends to ocurr, they do not dwell on it, instead they learn from it, take it as a lesson and move on. I don't believe it is learned, although parents can instill the importance of being positive when children are young, but as children get older and are involved in their own experiences and situations, their reactions will be their own.
