I've often wondered if anyone really sleeps with all those big pillows under their head. I know I use one flat pillow (it's firm, but small) and I tuck it up under my head with my arm. There is no way I could bend my head up to sleep like they will show it in the television shows. Those beds are just fixed to look pretty.

yeah i wonder who's great idea it was to have it always shown like that.. if they had their backs towards it propping them up to watch tv i would understand but dang!

I prefer big pillows, or at least a few pillows on top of each other. LOL But now that you mention it, I do seem to have neck pain quite a bit, and I was thinking it was something about the way I slept. Now I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it! I just like the feeling of a soft cold pillow against my face, it's a comfort thing I guess. I know I could just use one, but somehow I always end up using all 3, and sometimes even stuff a blanket underneath. I think I will try sometime to only use 1 or 2 of my pillows, the ones I have aren't all that fluffy. This is a great discussion, because I never associated my neck pain/stiff neck after waking with my pillows! But it makes sense because of the angel my head and neck are at for all the time I'm asleep.

i had only soft pillows and with me having neck problems it just irritated it bad!! i got a pillow that has memory foam in the middle but feathers around it so its soft but still gives support and i went from losing feeling in my arms and etc and awful headaches to having no pain at all!! but i think i need a new one because the pain is coming back.. of course if doesnt help that i sleep in the fetus position so my back is curved but im comfy till i straighten out lol

hi moonlit! as for me, i would have to have a pillow under me and it should be thick and fluffy. just one and it is enough for me. hehe and i want a medium bed, not soft or hard, as i get back aches, neck aches, and all kinds of body pains. hehe good day and God bless you! :)
