no more tim tam's.too costly to make

i heard on the radio that arnotts were not going to make tim tam's any more.they are a aussie icon,like lamingtons.apparently they are too expensive to make,so they are going to stop production.i will personally be devastated if this rumour is true.so tell me what would devastate you if they took something you love of the market.cheers sue

I think Tim Tam have been in trouble for a long time.
I used to buy them... but I did stop 5 or 6 years ago. I simply got sick of them. My favourite arnotts bicuits are "Gaiety".
They brought gimmicks out (tim tam with different flavors) to try to recapture the market. They are often on special. But there are so many new biscuits on the market that it has become very competitive.
And if you shop at Woolworths... you might have noticed that Woolworths is currently making his own brand for everything under the name "select". And for the most part... it is good.
I reckon than within two years... Woolworths will only be selling "Select". What does that mean for the Australian manufacturers? You can guess...

I like Tim tam by Arnolt. This is bad new, i like Tim tam, my mom too. I have plannet to buy it at Idul Fitri and bring it for my mom because she love it so much.
