The Dollar Stretcher... frugal living tips.

I'm always looking for a cheaper way to do things: shopping, traveling, etc. I've been this way most of my life.
Years ago, I found a great site called "The Dollar Stretcher". I get weekly ezines with some really great money-saving tips and have used quite a few of them.
The site address is: http://www.stretcher.com/subscribe/subscribeDS.cfm. You don't have to subscribe if you go there, but this page in particular has all the information about the site. This is not a referral thing, so you don't have to sign up under me if you choose to join.
They send you weekly emails with great money-saving tips. And, if you have a tip that they haven't covered, you can send it in and they will post it in one of their weekly ezines.
I think it's a great site and, with today's economy, every little bit helps! That's why I felt it necessary to share with my fellow myLotters who are looking for ways to live better in today's economy.
Take a peek. It just might help you. It sure has helped me!

Hey thanks I signed up always good to get tips on saving money. Im a cheapskate so I try and save money any chance I get. Thanks again for sharing.

Thanks for the link. The hubby and I are both penny pincher's. We sort of have to be. (4 kids and 1 income.)I've been going to http://www.thriftyfun.com/ for a long time now.
We are bad enough that when we go to Disney in April we are planning on camping half of the time we are there to avoid spending so much on hotels. I also use Memolink if I'm shopping online. You get points for every dollar you spend at the stores if you use the links on their site. I figure if I'm buying it anyways I may as well get paid. Points turn into a lot of stuff including $. I's a great way to make your shopping dollars work for you. If anyone wants to join message me and I'll be happy to send an invite (I'll get points for the referral).

When you get a chance send me a link. I love helping others get a little extra when I can and it sounds like a great site. I'll compare the sites to see who has the highest point value for each store before making the purchase. I think it will help me out a lot.

Yep, it sure has. I believe we're heading toward a depression and it's pretty scary! We need to do what we can to keep our heads afloat!

Yes, it certainly is! I think that everyone is looking for ways to save money these days and the more sites like this that we can share here, the better it will be for all myLotters! I will post more if I can find them.

Hi,
Thanks for the link. I am a true believer in the phrase..."it is not what you earn..it is what you spend" Because of that I try to save money wherever I can. If I can find fugal tips I will take them without a doubt. Lots of good tips here.
