Where can I go?

I've been doing some research here on myLot looking for good paying writing sites. I've checked out most of the ones here that have been listed, AC, Helium, Triond, Hubpages, Xomba, Suite101. None of them are quite what I'm looking for. I want a sight that pays for short stories not articles. Does anyone out there know of a site like this? I would really appriciate any advice that you may have. I've been writing for years and I thought maybe it was time to see if I can actually get them online.

I'm not sure about any sites like this kind for short stories. If you're looking for REAL writing opportunities, though, you need to be getting a writing newsletter or ezine. Or check your library for the latest copy of Writer's Market. Or get a writing magazine at the closest news stand. I wrote something the other day about writing and writers who work for peanuts. You can read it here: http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977384052&nav=MyGather In that article, I included a link for two writing newsletters - Funds for Writers, and Small Markets.
