First, I would reassure I was the president of ALL Americans regardless of religion, race, gender, color, creed, etc..like I am supposed to be. ALL real citizens should be equal here. Next, I would concentrate on DOMESTIC (here at home) issues, such as balancing the budget and cutting out ALL unnecessary spending, creating jobs, changing the type of energy we use into solar, wind power and power that not expensive/creating new jobs here AT HOME and helping the economy. We need to concentrate on straightening ut our own issues or we cannnot help others! And last, I would bring our soldiers home to secure OUR own borders. Time for us to stop trying to police the world and think about taking care of security here. I'd make it harder fo people to cross borders without proper paperwork in place and make sure they left when the Visa were up, etc... To stay in the US, people would have to apply IN THEIR own country first, so we could check out their criminal histories, to be citizens and gain employment and learn to read/write well, etc..or go back home. No exceptions. We need to slow down what we are doing here.

I've been told that I should try to become President someday *laughs* The foremost concerns for me would be to make sure America's infastructure (which means the economy, the people's quality of life, their education) was stable and with more pro's than cons in it. That benefitted everybody, not just the rich..., our security and making sure our dealings with other countries are good ones so as to not alienate them, and last but DEFINITELY not least to reverse all the inconstitutional changes that Bush made during his 2 terms...and work to protect America's freedoms from it's corporate corrupt politicians by trying to get the people more involved so that they can ensure future generations make sure this never becomes endangered again.
