June is a good month!

I recently put my dad on a bundle plan for his hand phone. Save me bundle on the subscription fees. Plus. Due to the bundle plan, I get additional saving discounts on the cable and internet plans as well!
And upgrading my dad's internet plan to a slightly higher end plan, I get to own my very own Laptop!! Something that I have been considering for a very long time! Cos I have no way to justify for spending money to get a laptop when I have a PC to use.
Today is my Birthday as well!
My wife got me some swell presents!! Some toys that I have been eyeing for some time now. The toys are really cool. I know, I know. You must be thinking, a grown man still playing with toys?!?
It is not just any toy! It is a collectible! 
On top Of that, we managed to go to some of my favorite eating hunts across the cause way to tuck into my favorites. And also managed to achieve all our objectives for the week!

well hope i'm not too late to wish you a happy birthday. it's kinda belated but better late than never right? :p
that's a good deal you've got. a laptop for the internet connection you would have gotten anyway. my contract still has a long way to go so no freebies for me.
well we all have a child in us. we all have our own 'toys'. for some it's the latest gadgets. for others it's the latest 'in' thing. good for you to get the things you want. :D

21 days more! that's really a long long time. think i would've became a giraffe. that's what i hate about contract freebies. they are so fast to start charging you. but the gift would come so much later. ;p

congratulations and happy birthday!
getting discounts really makes my day too. recently i went to a shopping sale, and this dress that was going for $85 previously was slashed down to $29! And got another top that was going for $42, now only $19!
I guess as we grow older it's not just the volume of presents, but a few well thought presents can really make our day!

And you are so right! As we grow older, the quantity of presents no longer matter as much as a well thought out one.
The funny thing is this, I just have the same conversation with my wife on this just a few days ago, prior to my posting of this topic.

Well A very belated Happy Birthday to you. It sounds like you had a wonderful day and no you are never to old to play with toys, I;m in my forties and just love to play. That is fantastic that you got a deal on the laptop, just like me with my daughters one. I can imagine just how excited you are about it as the reason I went for an upgrade package was because I like you couldn't afford to buy a new laptop for my daughter for her birthday. Great isn't it. Ellie :D
