Hi All
I hate the feel of certain fabrics
and at times I will see something that I like
and it even looks good but is poly or acrylic
and I just don't buy it.
I love linen, silk, rayon, cotton, leather and wool.
I really don't like the man-made fibers and
tend to stay away from them.
There is nothing like a cool linen top on a hot day.
I have heard that new fibres are being made from
plants and am looking forward to seeing some.
What is you favorite fiber for your clothing?

I don't like some fabrics too. I always feel the fabric, if I buy it the fabric has to have a nice feel to it. I used to love buying special shirts for my hubby, the fabric is what would sell me. I don't like wool against my skin, it makes me way too itchy. Do you remember the polyester days, hehe. I am so glad those days are over.

most my clothes are half poly half cotton because that is all I can fit into, in canada it is hard to buy clothes. And the shipping prices from the states is outrageous.

My favorite fibre is rayon, closely followed by cotton. A rayon/cotton blend is good, too.

You and I are of one mind when it comes to clothes. Often I will like the colour of something, but I'll run my hands over it, and I just won't like the fabric. Sometimes when I look for ightgowns this happens. I like the silky ones better than the ones hat feel more like e-shirts.

Most of the time I just simply prefer cotton clothing as it's a natural and "breathable" fabric and good for the whole year. While silk might be nice, wrinkles like crazy..LOL. I love the feel of velvets and also suede. If I have sweaters though, I have to get them made of acrylic yarns since I'm allergic to wool
