We have been getting afternoon tstorms for a week now and they are supposed to continue throughout this next week. I don't mind cause i gives my garden free water and it fills our water bucket for the indoor plants and for watering the garden when it doesn't rain. I have wireless laptop so I can unplug and still work on things. So it is all good lol. I don't have to go anywhere so I say let it rain!

We just got parked in the garage yesterday when the sky opened up and dumped a ton of rain down. It was brief today but don't think it is all done yet. Still have some clouds out there. The only bad thing is the dogs don't get walked as much as they should. Can't let then in the backyard cause the little one goes under the fence and escapes, the big one gets bitten by the ants (in a tender spot too). so they have to be walked between down pours.

I'm in NYC right now and it just started raining like five to ten minutes ago. It's not coming down to hard but I could hear the thunderstorms. They did say that it was going to rain all week. I like it when it rains like that to tell you the truth. Okay so now it's starting to rain harder. But it's good that it's doing some good for your plants.

It sounds like monsoon season in Arizona. My husband is down there ow, and they are gettig a lot of sorms too. They always do at this time o year. We have goten unseasonable rain here in Guelph Ontario too, and it wreaks havoc with the wireless internet.

This is how it is supposed to be here during hurricane season but the last 3 years atleast it has been so dry. I like it wet better my yard looks better and the HOA stays off my back. I have a 3 foot wide strip that runs the front of our yard all the way across that will not grow grass. We have put in sod 4 times in the past 3 years just to have it die. So we are going to rip it up and put in pavers and ground cover and mulch it really good. The HOA is always on our bu*** about that strip.

It's been raining off and on here for about a week as well. Great for the garden but it's bringing out more and more skeeters to the point I can't even work out in the yard w/o immersing myself in repellent.
