I needed to pull into a layby on the journey home today and when I got out of the car the full circle skirt I had on was caught by a gust of wind and lifted right up, what was funny was the fact that I had nude colour underwear on so the cars driving by would have thought I was naked underneath. I quickly held down and got back into car. I didn't notice any cars crashed into the verges so guess they weren't that shocked but I just thought it was so funny. What mishaps have you ever had with clothes? Ellie :D

Oh... ha ha ha... how embarrassing! I think you might have got away with it though, my friend! You always feel as though everybody's watching you, but hopefully, they had their eyes on the road ahead. lol. I think I told you the story about when I went to Brighton, was late, and rode my bike down to the station, with my skirt blowing up, only to find when I arrived at the station, that I'd forgotten to put my knickers on!!! ha ha ha. Brightest Blessings.

How funny... I just took your response out of e-mail and under yours was a mail in french, about online pharmaceutical goods... the address, tout@me.freeserve.com! How apt!!! I was quite young when my incident happened and I was late for the train. I couldn't go back and retrieve my garment, or I would have missed the train, and my day out with my friend. She would have been disappointed too! So, it was "on with the show", regardless. xx

LOL, that is funny, good thing not many cars and you didn't create traffic but that view..JOKe! LOL When I was in College and ironing my uniform, I burned it and left a circle whole on it, as big as the size of the biscuits...My other skirt was wet and I need to attend the class for my major subject exam...I went in our school covering it with my books all the time since it was located in front, I forgot about it when I was talking to a friend and everyone's eyes were in my skirt..It was funny for them but I wanted to shrink from the world that time...LOL!

Marilyn is one of my very favorites! I bet it causes a stir someplace! LOL...I haven't had anything like that happen to me.....not that I remember but one time back in the late 80's we used to wear what they call a jump suit...well I was out on the town one night and had a few banana daquaries and went to the bathroom...it was a bit hard to get some of them up.....when I returned to my friends no one mentioned that the collar was all askew...so everyone could tell I had either just been to the bathroom or crawled out of some guys car! I was so embarassed. Another time back when we used to wear girdles....I went to the bathroom and couldn't get it back up! So I had to carry it out in my purse which wasn't really big enough! LOL

Thanks for sharing both these stories. Ellie :D

Hahaha - you would have looked like Marilyn Monroe! Actually, all my clothes are mishaps, because I tend to wear them until they fall apart. I have a lovely patchwork shirt which I wear all the time, and it's coming apart in quite a few places, so there are glimpses of skin here and there and my daughters are often horrified!

well once I was on a date, and I had an argument with the the date and wanted to leave in a huff, well I left alright but she as I got to the door of the cafe, the elastic in my underwear broke, and I was wearing a dress I could feel my undies falling and I grabbed the top of my dress to hold them up and tried to keep my dignity in place.

*laughs* This is funny I am sure they didn't mind..... I had one incident lately when a part of a long upper tunic kinda got tucked inside the lower trousers and I didnt even notice. Its only when some colleague pointed it out that I realised what I was going around and showing off. It felt embarrassed.

Hi mimipi. At least they pointed it out LOL. Some people would have just let you walk round all day like it. I was really laughing when I got back into car. It just lifted straight up and was very revealing but only moments in time thankfully. Ellie :D

I am surprised there wasn't a multi car pile up as they all tried to catch a glimpse! My most usual thing is not to realise that my buttons are undone way too far down and I am doing a Judy Finnegan! lol My other half never tells me either - he says he just enjoys the view! xxx

Oh I bet your husband doesn't tell you, you'd only do the buttons up and spoil his fun. How is your friend Weemam today, any better? Ellie :D

Hi Sweet Many years ago I was in an elevator alone coming in from the basement. I thought I had pushed express so had my skirt way up trying to pull my panthose up because it had slipped down. Suddenly the door opened at the lobby with a group of men wanting to go up to the convention room. We all just stared until the doors closed! hehe xoxoxo

Hi Cupid, most of the time if a male stops in a layby it is to take a pee so I should imagine a few get a glance LOL. I was really laughing when I got back into car. I will wear trousers the next time I travel. Ellie :D

Nothing as exciting as you display Ellie. I now know why they said on the radio that there were inexplicably long queues on the A303 yesterday! I have gone to the office wearing the trousers from one suit and jacket from another. I wear odd socks all the time too. But it's all pretty tame I'm afraid.

hi ellie well it was good that I did not know this when I walkedd the one block to my nearest store but as I walked into Trader Joe's parking a lady in a caddy pulled alongside ]me and c alled to me. I wondered what she wanted, and in a soft voice she said, miss your skirt is caught in the top of your panties. I thanked her and yanked my skirt down. now several people had passed me on my walk, and not a one had the intelligence to tell me that my pantied butt was hanging' out for God and everyone else to see. embarrassed is not the word for it, more like mortified, and feeling an inch tall.I had to sit down on a bench in front of Trader JOes for a moment to collect my embarrassed wits. lol and lol again.

Hello Ellie, That must have been pretty funny. lol. There was a night a few years ago that I was half way through my shift at work when someone mentioned a grease streak running down the bottom half of my skirt that the only thing I could figure came from being in the door jam of my car door coming to work. I worked more then half my shift and nobody said anything about it. Needless to say I was very embarrassed about it and a little upset with my coworkers. I can laugh now but then I wasn't very happy!

Well that is a funny one! That's totally happened to me before. My last big flub was when I cojoined the shows Family Guy and American Dad and referred to them as Family Dad. My spouse pretended that he didn't hear my flub and went on. He's a sweetie!

Well, I dressed in drag once to win a pizza party for the bank I was enslaved to. I had to borrow a black dress from one of my co-workers, because I didn't have any of my own, anyway, I'm a size 6, sorry, I digress. I had to put the dress on at work and I needed someone to zip it up in the back. The co-worker who gave me the dress helped me get into it, I was standing there and she was zipping it up and I had to "suck it in" so she could get the zipper all the way up. All the girls started laughing because they admitted they did the same thing when they put on their party dress. I felt like one of the girls. Sigh.
