Dinner

I only ate leftovers chicken wings from my friend's dinner out at Hooters tonight. But we just finished cooking "Chicken Curry". It's gonna be our food for tomorrow (I guess both lunch and dinner)

We ate out tonight at a buffet. I had pasta, potatoes, tea and cherry cobbler. It was so good. Just too many carbs at one meal but that's ok once in awhile. My husband ate the pasta but wouldn't eat the potatoes or cobbler. He watches his weight.

How nice that you feel that way about your mother-in-law and that she is willing to cook. I do like that idea of someone else doing the cooking. I made dinner tonight - started a pot roast this morning in the crockpot with potatoes and carrots with onion soup mix for seasoning and then reheated a side dish of sweet potato casserole to go along with it. Made gravy from the drippings and three of us had plenty with leftovers for tomorrow! I like crockpots because I don't have to "babysit" the pot.

I was looking through some of the discussion topics here & I came across a topic about Pizza... Now I want one... I think that's what I'm getting for dinner tonight...

I made reuben sandwiches and steamed broccoli for dinner tonight. Kind of an odd mix of healthy and unhealthy, but it was sooo good!

I had to fix dinner early because the grandsons wanted to go back to church tonight. I had bought another cantaloupe and my husband wanted that. So we had biscuits, gravy, salmon patties and cantaloupe. It was great. The boys said I just did not cook enough. They are big eaters!

I am also not cooking. I made pizza last night and we still have left over today so if anyone wants they can have a slice of that or make something else to satisfy their tummy and taste buds. But now that you mention that burger and fries I feel like I can have one myself! But I just made brownies a few hours ago and had a square with some of my homemade nutella "swirl" ice cream and I am now stuffed! Yup. But I may make me some burger and fries tomorrow for lunch, yum yum! Hope you enjoy your dinner.
