Does the amount of time it takes to post your response correspond to the length of your message? I have a fairly fast computer, and after responding with a long message to a discussion, it took nearly two minutes for the submission to go through. Can someone offer some wisdom on the subject?

I've only experienced a lag a few times. My computer's fast too, but a couple of times it was weird. And usually is my message that I typed is super long then that takes a few more seconds for it to post. I've never had to wait for more than 30 seconds.

Thanks for the reply, maybe it's because I'm on a wireless connection.

Does the amount of time it takes to post your response correspond to the length of your message? If you are referring to the time it takes for you to write a response, then its yes.In case if you are referring to the time taken to publish your post,I think its no big deal. I mean I haven't faced any difficulty like this.Almost all the times, the posts are posted fairly quickly.Except during the rare time, when mylot server is slow and it would take a lot of time for a page to load. But,most certainly taking 2 minutes for publishing a post is really too much.I have so far haven't felt like that. I think may be the mylot server became slow, and it could have just been a coincidence that you are trying to post a particularly long post.I may be wrong. But,this is what I think. Cheers! Have a good day Happy mylotting and happy earnings.

No, it shouldn't matter what length your post is. Sounds like there was a hiccup somewhere, but I'm sure it's only temporary.
