Best buffet on the Las Vegas Strip... what is it?

We will soon be jetting off to Las Vegas. We've been there many times but are always looking for new experiences. Do you have some recommendations for the best buffet on the strip? We've been to several but, again, we would love to try something new that is recommended. Don't worry about the cost of the buffet, because we'll be on vacation and are willing to spend more for a great experience. Can't wait to hear your ideas.

Hi dix19on. Welcome to myLot! I see this is your first post! I am so honored. Thank you for telling me about your visit to Las Vegas. I have been to Fremont Street a few times, but not in the last 5 years or so. Thanks for telling me about the country buffet. Take care and have a fantastic time on myLot. PearlGrace

Hey jillhill! We haven't ever eaten at Harrah's but we have lost a dime or two there. I have a feeling you are pulling my leg about the high cost of your meal there. Thanks for your reply.

Hi PearlGrace! I'm sure you have already gone on your trip. Where did you eat and did you enjoy it? My top three Strip buffets are Paris, Planet Hollywood, and Mirage.

You may have gone to the PH one when it used to be Aladdin. Mirage has reeeeeaaally improved in the last few years.

Hello casinocat. Our trip to Vegas was wonderful! We stayed at Paris for the first time. We love their Village Market Buffet and think it's the best one we've been to so far over the last 20+ years of visits. We did try out the Wynn buffet for the first time. The wait was pretty long, about an hour. The ambience was lovely and the food was quite good. But still, not as good as the Paris buffet. We have eaten at the Mirage's buffet several times, but probably not in the past 5 years or more. Next trip, we will try Bellagio's. Thanks for sharing about Planet Hollywood's buffet. I don't recall ever going to that one. But we did go to P.F. Chang Restaurant in Planet Hollywood this time. It was amazing! Take care and thanks for responding.

But the best buffet by far is the dinner buffet at Bellagio, they have lamb, king crab legs, duck, quails, squid steak just to name a few, so have a light breakfast, skip lunch and when you are hungry, go pig out at Bellagio. Planet Hollywood was a lettle cheaper, but a big difference in quality and variety.

hi pearlgrace, i live in Las Vegas, and though i haven't been in a while, i used to think The Rio had the best buffet....it's actually a little bit off the strip right across the street from The Palms. i haven't tried it, but i hear The Flamingo also has a great brunch buffet with exotic animals right outside the windows while you're eating. but no matter which you go to, pretty much in general.....BUFFETS ROCK!!! have fun when you come here and be prepared for the dessert summer....it's pushing about 110+ degrees this time of year......POOLS AND AIR CONDITIONING ROCK TOO!!!

Hi sconibear. We have had the buffet at the Rio more than once and it is really good. We've had the Friday night Seafood Buffet at the Flamingo but I don't remember ever having the brunch buffet. I will definitely keep that one in mind. There was a tv show on yesterday that said that the Bellagio and Wynn had the best buffets on the strip. We've never been to either one of those! We are wild about the Village Buffet at Paris Resort and Casino. I can't imagine there could be buffets better than that one, but we are committed to trying a new one this time. Thank you, sconibear, and if you have any other info about strip casinos or hotels, please let me know. Thanks for the heads up on the temperatures, too. We are used to heat (we live in FL), but not the desert heat. Take care. PearlGrace

Hi PearlGrace! I went to Las Vegas once. I never went to a buffet though. We stayed at a hotel on the strip and there was a resturant between the hotel and casino that we almost always ate meals at. I actually do not remember eating anywhere else. Except I think we ate at The Hard Rock Cafe. Have a Lovely day! Hartley
