I just found the coolest web page with lots of Ralph Waldo Emerson quotes!

I was looking for quotes for over at Boomertowne and found a page of Ralph Waldo Emerson quotes and now I am in love with that web page! It is great and I want to read all of them over and over and over again and think about them and savor them! Ok, maybe that's a bit weird of me but really, I love them.

The quote totally reminds me of my mother. If you don't agree with everything she says, then she goes off on you and says that you are trying to put her down! It's bizarre and more than once I have been caught unawares, not realizing that she's got to be insane or something cuz who even though of what she's suddenly accusing me of! But seriously, everyone has to agree with what my mom says or she thinks we're all putting her down cuz we are all mean and stuff. So that's why I thought of my mother when I read that quote and wow, I do not want to think that way ever!! I think I need to go in for more counseling! :-)

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said that the things behind us and the things before us are nothing compared to the things within us. We as human beings are innately powerful. :)

that was amazing quote. i read one of Ralph Waldo Emerson quote's it was written at the back of a notebook with other famous people's qoute. It said "A Hero is no braver than an Ordinary man but he is brave by 5minutes longer."
