is it good to use cloth stiffners?

i get my clothes stiffened as it gives a smart look whne ireoned and worn, but there are some clothes which does not need a stiffener

I think if you don't mind the feel of stiff clothing that it does give a nice crisp tailored look to some clothes. Others are designed to drape or flow and don't need to be starched or otherwise stiffened. Where I live I seldom see any one wear anything that even needs to be ironed let alone stiffened and creased like we used to do them. Mostly jeans and tee shirts. I kind of miss the good ole' days, but I don't miss ironing!
