Just share with me which ear you use to attend and hear the phones by default. I normally do it on left ear. KI dont know why, but I find it always on my left ear only. Does it happen with you also or you use both of your ears equally to attend phones. Any body can put some light why this is so with me. I am a right hander by habits.

I use my left ear. I think that part of the reason for that is that I dial with my right hand, so it's easier to have the receiver in my left hand. I also do this with my cell phone, I think out of a long standing habit from old land line phones.

You have a scientific approach in your answer and that was the answer I was looking. Yes, its the habit of landlines to dial from right and hold the phone in left hand so, it goes to left ear only.

I naturally use my right ear. I am right handed. But there are things that I do just as good with my left hand, like I can just as easily eat and use a fork or spoon with my left hand. But my writing with my left hand looks like a little kids handwriting! I don't know why we have certain preferences. To me I feel like it's just an automatic thing I am conditioned to do. I feel awkward when I try to use my cell phone on the left side. Although I have had times when I was on the phone for a really long time, and my ear was getting sore and hot, so in that case I did use the left side.

I use my right ear to hear, only cause my hearing is better. When my daughter was a baby, I would hold her on my left hip and use my right hand to work in the house. And she would scream so loudly that I lost some of the hearing in my left ear. I'm not mad about it.

Though I am a right-hander but still as a habit I use my left ear to hear the phone by default. And perhaps because of this only I keep my cell phone in my left pocket and my land phones are also kept on the left side of my working table. Whenever I am having a long conversation on phone, in between I switch over the phone to my right ear to avoid pain in my left hand.

I use my right ear. I think it's because since Im dominant with my right hand, everything else matches along with it.

I am also dominant with my right hand like many others but surprisingly most of them use left ear to listen phones by default. Good to know that atleast you are right handed and use the same ear by default to hear your phone.

My headphones consists of both ears so I am using both the ears and also I feel that hearing with one ear will not satisfy me so I prefer to use both ears
