how are hike in fuel prices effecting everone on their country?

In India the rates are touching the sky with the inflation going all out and rates of fuels being increased is a headache for sure. I live in a small town and rates are like 62 rs a liter and that is 1 and half dollars a liter thatz way too much how it is effecting you all in ur veru own respective countries.
