What memory would you choose to keep?

What if all of your memories would be erased except for one. What memory would you choose to keep? On first thought I would say the birth of my children, but that would be three. So I would have to say that I would choose to keep the memory of my husband and seven kids (my three and his four) all sitting down to dinner together. We would all be there and I would be able to hold on to each of them in a way.

You know what's sad, I don't have any specific memories because I have seemed to block whatever memories I have. I have had some brought up to me and I couldn't remember anything.

That is wild! Did you have a bad childhood? I know there are alot of things that people block out because they can't handle the pain of thinking about it. Thanks for the response!

I think that comes with age, unfortunately! I am getting the same way. I have a pretty good long-term memory but my short-term memory sucks! I can have a conversation and not remember it an hour later but ask me in two weeks and I will remember every word!

I would say that I have. But what is horrible is that there are memories that I don't remember from a couple of years ago...and I used to have a great memory!! But your welcome for the response.

I am sorry to hear that. That would be a great memory to hold onto.
