A local bus ride

I was thinking about taking my daughter to The Arlington National Cemetery,which is one of our large historic sites.I have ancestors buried there and I wanted to take her into the Custis Lee Mansion.Another one of our ancestors,General Robert E. Lee lived there.But,yesterday a 14 year old boy was taking the metrobus home yesterday and 2 other teenagers came on there and started harrasing the passengers and then shot this 14 year old in the stomach.He is fighting for his life in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) at the hospital.How sad.Please everyone pray for this boy.Is it getting unsafe in your area? Crime is coming up more ever since the gas price's went up causing the prices of everything else to go up.However Iam not sure if this was the case with this crime.

I know here in the UK we have the same problem with many teenagers using knives and other weapons. Obviously you do have to take care when going out but you cannot let others rule your life and stop you doing things can you?

There is not much crime in my area, but I live in the middle of nowhere. My closest neighbors are about 1/4 of a mile away. That is terrible about the young boy. It is also a shame that something like that happened and prevented you from taking your daughter on a bus ride to go see the cemetery.

how terrible, sure hope he gets better. think i'd think twice about taking off. it is not safe anywhere any more not even in your own home but i'd rather be home as anywhere i know.you stay safe.
