Many years ago the reason why most people wore their watch on their left arm is because of the location of the knob so you could easily wind it up with your right hand. Wearing it on the right arm would make it harder to wind up the watch. Today watches have batteries so it doesn't matter if you wear it on your right arm because you don't have to wind it up anymore.

Hi there dhangski, I have it on my left wrist! I do have friends also who wear it on their right! and as I have observed it has nothing to do also whether a person is right handed or left handed!

You were definitely right. It has nothing to do whether you wear it on your right or on your left. It really doesn't matter. As long as you were comfortable.

I preferred to have it on the left since I was right handed. I have seen people who is left handed and their wristwatch was on their left hand. I was not comfortable wearing it on my right hand since I was using my right hand mostly and my wristwatch is prone to entanglement all the time.

Thanks agihcam for sharing. I am right handed and I am comfortable wearing my watch on my right wrist. I think, it really depends on the person where he/she is comfortable with. Have a nice day my dear friend.

Hello friend! I wear mine on the left. I think sometimes it's a case of which hand is dominant. Usually, not all the time, right-handed people wear it on the left so they could adjust it or wear it properly when needed. Same is the case for left-handed people why they wear it on the right. But I've also seen right-handed people wearing it on the right. I guess it's also a matter of preference.

hi there! I wear my watch on my left hand, Im used to it since the time I can read a clock.. :) in my family, most of us wear watches on the left hans but I have friends who love it on their right hand. I think it really depends on what suits us best.

Hi There!! I have always worn my wristwatch on my left arm. I guess it is just the way I was always taught. But I am right handed and I just naturally turn to the left to look at my watch LOL!! You need to wear it on the arm that is best for you dear friend. Have a wonderful day!! Shelia

I worked for years as a nurses aid and always wore my wristwatch on my left hand so I could use my right hand to check pulses and do vital signs and so to this day I still wear my watch on my left hand and carry my handbag over my left shoulder also.

I placed my watch in my left when I was young. It's not because I am a left-handed person but I remember my father also placed it in the left wrist. And I don't know how or why did I changed, I now put my watch in the right. But unfortunately, I have no watch right now. It malfunction several weeks ago and I haven't got to bring it to the shop to have it checked. What time is it, by the way?

I usually wear mine at my left. I'm used to it and felt more comfortable when I wear it on my left. My right wrist is for my bracelet.

I wear my wrist watch on my right wrist, though I am right handed. It feels odd when I wear it on the left wrist. Not sure why. But it does feel weird. I guess it's all personal choice.
