before the euro,people thought that christiano ronaldo was the favorite but ronaldo could not show his talents during the euro,besides that he tarnished his image by being arrogant and continuing to try to provocate referees....So now wat will happen,new stars have emerged in the likes of arshavin,ballack and the best according to me FERNANDO TORRES!!

If there is a winner it has to be Cristiano Ronaldo. He was amazingly consistent throughout the season carried the team along with him. But to win the European Player of the Award your performances in UEFA Champions League is very important and there also he ended up as the leading scorer and Manchester United won the trophy. And even in League he was the leading scorer and United won the EPL title. So there are no doubts about the winner. But my doubt is "Are there any nominees other than Ronaldo!!!!!!!" I'm asking this because he deserves to win without voting.

i think C. Ronaldo should, though i hate the guy for being arrogant, but he deerves it, the fact that he didnt shine at the just concluded euro2008 doesnt mean he is a failure, he is the best right now, lets not take it away from the guy, he is good, personally, i will prefer that Messi wins it, but injury didnt let him show much of himself.
