There is one time, me and my wife went shopping together ins the grocery store. That was about 2 kilometers from our house. We had 2 carts full of grocery items. We paid, and then rode back to the house. When we were sorting the items we noticed that we actually lack one item. That thing was very important to me so I had to go back to the store. It wasn't actually anybody's fault. The bottle was hidden under the teller's scanner, so the time that the bagger put the items in, he didn't noticed that the bottle was hidden. ..

Hi jHoeEn! Yes, it did happen to me on several occasions already. Once when I was in a marketplace, I have paid for the items then I just left it but before I got that far, the vendor called out to me and she brought the stuffs that I bought. I was so thankful that she noticed it for I haven't realized that I didn't. There is also this time that I have remembered that I have not been able to put it on my grocery bag when I already reached home, well, I didn't come back for it since it is just one item that I missed putting in my bag and the grocery store is very far and it is not worth the travel anymore. Take care and God Bless!

i am a very forgetful person and so i tend to forget a lot of things, one time i forgot the things i bought in a grocery store, there are also times when i forgot the package i surrendered to the baggage counter of the supermarket. not only that, yesterday when i paid a credit card bill in the bank i forgot to return the queuing number to the guard after my turn.

Me, i experienced it but i know i did not forgot to bring it. Way back i went to grocery to buy some stuff for our kitchen, i even had a list. Due to volume of the stuff and I was very busy looking at the cashier while inputing my goods, i did not check the bag at the counter. When i went home to double check it ( which is my mistake that should be done on the grocery) i lost three of the items so i came back and go to the counter again and ask them i had three missing items. They told me they have put all in the bag so it is impossible to left an item there. My eyes are travelling around the counter bag area and i had seen there the three items that i think they are just hiding it. So i call up the manager and as for assistance and talk to him my concern. Without argument he checked the tag of the items and we found out that the items already been sold, which means it belongs to a receipt and already paid.Good thing i have the receipt with me and it proves that is my item. They put it sealed with a plastic bag and the manager talked to his personnel. I have doubts if this is just an honest mistake or a modus operandi. I shared it to all of my friends after and they avoid that grocery when buying goods.

well sometimes we cant help it... especially if there were heaps of groceries youre looking after... we always forget even a little one... but i think its the cashier or whoever store person it is... to put the stuff that being forgotten by the buyers aside so that they can give it back once the buyer will come and get it... but on the other hand, i do believe that there is a modus operandi on that... theyre just unlucky coz you figure it out... so next time pal be careful... thanks for sharing

That is so funny. I rented some movies out of this RentCube machine down the street. I selected, and paid for three movies. I just walked away from the machine and went shopping for my groceries. I then went back to the machine when I was leaving and had the dejavous feeling. Strangely all the movies I wanted to rent were checked out, and the machine wouldn't take my card saying I had reached my limit. DUUUUHHHHH.

It took me four days to get past the embarrassment of having done it. Then I called up the Rentcube company. The CSR sounded as if she had never heard of anything so dumb, but hey that's what insurance is for right as she said, "I'll process this claim right away and remove the charges from your credit card, sir. Will there be anything else?" I thought I heard her say stupid at the end but, that could just be me. LOL

hi jhoen! yeah, i've experienced that too! its quite embarrassing because you appear like an old forgetful person to the cashier and the other customers. ^__^;; this happens to me usually when i buy only one item. and yeah, it also happened to me that i've already at home before i remember that i forgot to bring the item with me. i also call the attention of other people who have forgotten and left the item that they bought.

Hello jHoEn16, It never happened to me but, I had a different experience - I always forgot what did I buy! I make it a habit to check the price and the stuff when I reach home, whenever I go for shopping. That job is done easily as you can find the item and the price next to it on your receipt. It is different with Tesco - the receipt only has the code number and the price. One day, I went home and checked my stuff but couldn't find a thing with the price stated on the receipt. My sister and I tried hard to remember. Unfortunately, both of us couldn't even remember the stuff. I was angry thinking that the cashier charged me twice and went back to the hypermarket to check on it. The customer service looked at the price and asked me whether I did buy any baby products. I confidently said yes and told them that those products were checked but I couldn't find the one with that price. He went for awhile and came back to me - showing me something and asked me, "Did you buy this, Madam?" I looked at it and slowly said yes! I found a good excuse to tell them and just went away feeling like a stupid. I bought a milk bottle and when I reached home, I quickly soaked it with other milk bottles as my baby was crying that time. I totally forgot about it!
