Did you ever win money?

Yes! It was a huge sum at the time too. I was a little girl of about 10 and there were the local celebrations which the town held once a year. My mother bought me one of those hot-air balloons and attached my name to it. Many months later I got a letter from the local churcj who had organised the evnt telling me that I had won £5 with my balloon because it had gone the farthest distance. The person who found it in her garden in Germany (I was living in UK at the time so it crossed the North Sea )had the decency to contact the addess on the label to inform that she had found it. We remained in contact for some time afterwards (it was the thing then to have a 'pen-friend') and I eben got my picture in the local paper

I haven't won any money... I think it won't happen... I don't have luck with raffles... I also don't gamble... But if ever I won a million bucks (so impossible...), I would give half of it to my parents for them to spend vacation in any place they like and to enjoy their lives to the fullest.
