Why do they allow people to tape and take pictures of c-sections??

When I had my second son they allowed my husband to take pictures. They said we could tape it also but I said no way. You would think that they would be scared of something happening. I know that is why I didn't want him to tape it. I am glad we didn't tape it because they the nurses were having problems getting my son to breath. That is something I wouldn't want to continually watch.

Hmm. I've seen a couple of hundred C-sections in my time (used to cover OT-Obs on the night shift), and I can't say I'd want a videotape of any of them, even the perfectly straightforward ones. It's not exactly a beautiful sight... Take pics of the baby by all means, but I'd probably wait till afterwards ;)
