Friend To the Rescue

The other day, my very BEST friend, calls me up. She is screaming and crying. She found a snake in her house. She is terrified and standing on top of the table, screaming into the phone for me to go and help her. She wanted me to get it out of her house. I jumped in the car, not thinking about what I may be getting myself into. The only thing on my mind was getting there to help her and doing it as fast as possible. I get to her house, not knowing what kind of enormous, scary, poisonous snake is in there waiting for me. She is hysterical! I slowly walk in to find a baby chicken snake. It was about 1 1/2 feet long. They are not poisonous and they eat mice. The baby snake was backed into a corner, shaking. Apparently, she screamed so much that she had the baby snake literally scared stiff. So, what are some things that you have done to rescue or help out a friend?

Helping someone out emotionally is one way that we can always help...if that person allows us to. Everyone is rewarded when you are help someone out in this way. You and the other person.

you're right, but if u're to help anyone emotionally,u must be able to talk them out of their problem and show them hope for the future,ie u ,must make sure they tell u their whole problem and u then find a solution to it.

Haha this sounds like something my boyfriend would do. Last summer he was helping my dad do firewood, he started yelling for me and I go out there and there's a tiny baby garter snake...not much bigger than a worm. I couldn't help but stand there and laugh. Chances are I would of done the same thing you did. If someone is that hysterical you're going to think it's something serious.

For my friend, it WAS serious. It wasn't a joke...she was terrified. I did enjoy seeing her on the table yelling. It was really funny. She was screaming, "OH MY GOD! I'm going to die! I think I'm having a heartattack! Get it out my house! Please get it out!" She thought it was a rattle snake because its tail was shaking. I laughed and gave her a little science lesson on snakes. Nevertheless, she couldn't sleep for a few days just thinking about it.
