How can you say hello in your native language? and what language do you speak? my native language is albanian and in albanian you say hello in many forms. in formal you say "tungjatjeta" or "tung" for shkurt. but we also use other words such as "miredita", or foreing words like "ciao". (ciao is used less)

I'm Filipino... when you say hello to a person.. It's "Kumusta?" or "Kumusta ka?" in Korean, when you say Hello.. it's "Annyeong" or "Annyeong haseoyo!"

Hey, I'm from Hong Kong and we speak cantonese as our main lanaguage, however this had change since the China hand-over. It's mandarin and cantonese. Anyway, there are a few ways to say HELLO in cantonese: "Nei Ho" - formal language, used when meeting new people "Wei..." - informal language, used when seeing friends. It's like saying "HEY!!!"

In Philippines, we use HELLO in many ways - just like in many countries, when we answered phone calls; when we greet people whether an acquaintance or to someone we want to befriend; When we we to sound sarcastic - however, Filipinos have modified the word, and you say it as HALERRR instead of the usual HELLOOOO!
