do your kids draw on their selves?

I believe my daughter has done this a time or two. I scold her for it, of course. I do not want her to go drawing on walls, carpets, herself, or the like. I tell her that she only draws on paper that she's been given for drawing or pages of a coloring book. I do not, however, pretend that she can get ink poisoning. If that were possible, they would have kid-safe ink. The greatest danger would not be getting it on their skin, but rather, a kid chewing on a pen and ingesting some.

have never had an issue with my kids drawing on themselves. Any marks that they have on their skin are accidental while drawing or coloring with markers. I thought that was just a myth made up by parents who did not want their kids to draw on themselves.

I used to tell my kids the same thing but I don't think they listened to me either. Actually, the only one who was bad about drawing on himself was my son...a boy...whatta surprise!
