I would love to get an opportunity to go an African safari. I ve been to one locally . It was great and exciting, but did not get to see too many animals. We got chased by an elephant for about half a mile. Am i on holidays? No. Do you get the impression I am on one ?

Actually I'm in between assignments, so have have a lot of free time at work. The Movie which I referred to here was on a few nights ago and that is when I posted the discussion. These days don't do much after work at home, so get back to mylotting again.

That's sad, that you did't get to see to many animals. But I'm sure you must have enjoyed a part of the experience. I hope you get to go on another one.

Unfortunately i have never gone on a safari because i have become crippled for life. But i regularly watch Discovery, Animal Planet and National Geographic channels which have some of the most enchanting wildlife documentaries.I am very fond of animals and since i can`t watch them firsthand i take the second option.

I have done, it was the most wonderful experience of my life! Everything out there is so beautiful and untouched. If I could I'd live in the bush! To be honest I can't remember the name of the Safari lodge but I have been on two, one in Zimbabwe and the other in South Africa. At the time it was a little expensive because we were still living in Zimbabwe and earning Z$ which as you might know is worth next to nothing! However, if you have foreign currency it shouldn't be as expensive.
