Over thinking

Do you find yourself doing this often? I am bad to overthink problems. I'm not talking about just that though. Going down the highway 1. Why do we stop at red? Who decided that we should do that? 2. Why do WE drive on the right side? Math questions (Since I'm a math teacher) 1. Who decided that 1 is smaller than 2? 2. Who named the numbers?3. Who decided how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide? Oh the list could go on and on.. Do you overthink? If so, what are some of the questions you ask yourself?

Y is a crooked letter...lol... I do often ask a lot of questions about why things are the way they are but then I started to realize that some things are just the way they are because they just are, hence my heading which says, "it is what it is". I don't think you are necessarily an over thinker but more of a philosophical thinker meaning you look for the deeper meaning in things. You are a very inquisitive person which is a good thing in my book, because asking questions will enable you to learn something new every day.

Yes, Y is a crooked letter. I guess it is more of a philosophical way of thinking. Thanks for your input though!

You're not alone. Me, i think too much and sometimes I have a headache. That's why i tried to avoid thinking too much. It's no fun at all. But I mellow down lately. i try to change my perspective in life.

I over think with everything. I guess that kind of makes me paranoid in a way. I am just like you when it comes to asking myself broad questions like that. I never really questioned much when I was younger and I'm certainly making up for it now.
