I wanted to share a list of the new cell phone driving laws for California motorist. I do not drive, but I know that I will have to help my friends and family members to remember the laws as they are very use to usiing their cell phones while driving. Have you been able to refrain from using your cell phone while driving yet?

I live in Ca too but do not drive. I am however so glad
to see this law passed and maybe now people will be more
careful when driving and talking on the blasted cell'
phones. I was nearly hit by a woman driver who was too
busy talking on the cell phone to pay attention to where
she was driving and she came right straight at me. I had
to jump back to avoid being struck. this was in the parkinglotof my favorite grocery store and she was driving too fast and did not have both hands on the steering wheel.

I don't drive at the moment (car is kaput) but I wouldn't talk on the cell phone when driving even without the law. I try not to talk on the cellphone anyway LOL But, my wife and daughter insist I have one and take it everywhere so I do.
How about the fine? $76 for the ticket! That should get peoples attention!
