if you could have any law be enforced across the entire country, what would it be?

Law against illegal logging and illegal fishing and smoking in public places --- these are the laws I want implemented to protect our environment and safeguard the future of our next generation.

If I could get any law enforced across the entire country I would get a law enforced that says it is illegal to be stupid and be a bad friend, because there is nothing worse than stupid people or people who turn out to be bad friends.

I would like to see a law enforced that every case must be considered on its own merits only, not using the minimum mandatory sentences the legislature used to counteract the checks and balances that make trials, sentences, etc., the job of the judicial branch. A codicil to this would be that sentences, conventions, etc., change with the times.
