Who is your favourite author whose books you like to read on priority once it is published? Or whose books you have read with lot of interest and more than once? What is the topic or subject that particular author is well versed in?

I like Jane Austen and Charlotte Brontë. Jane's "Pride and Prejudice" and Charlotte's "Jane Eyre" are my favourite. I think their writings are refreshing and their language is beautiful.Their stories are life-like and romantic. This is why I like it.

I like different authors and I skip around to read any books that I have found interesting. I am currently reading something by Ken Follett. I used to be a real s. king fan, but not any more.

My favourite author changes all times. For the time being I'm enjoying thrillers written by john Grisham. I'm also fond of books writted by James Patterson, specially his Alex Cross series. Not a long time ago, I was reading all the Harry Potter series from JK Rowling. As long as a book is well written and exciting, I'm always looking forward to read it.

The only author that I've found myself waiting eagerly to read more from has been Obert Skye. His books are geared towards adolescents, but they're rich with intellectual humor and brilliant dialogue. My favorite author is Ray Bradbury. He's such an amazing individual. His view of human nature is always interesting and fresh. He can also spin a short story unlike any other writer I've ever read. I do read his new stuff when it comes out, but since he doesn't write serials, I don't find myself foaming at the mouth to get my next "fix". Other favorite authors of mine are Lewis Carroll and Jane Austin.
