Abetment to suiside ?

Just because you happen to be the last person ( say a lady ) to see a particular person alive and you did have a relationship with that person, would you agree that the boy should be arrested for abetment to suiside ? The boy may have had an agreement of just an affair with the girl, and just because she commits suiside and he was the last person to see her alive, what would be your opinion. Should he be punished or let free.

He should be let free unless he edged her on and taunted her. It's your decision what you do with your life, and other people shouldn't be blamed for your unusual hormones. But if the boy leaves after the girl tells him she's going to kill herself and meant it, he should have some punishment because he could have called the cops to make sure she didn't go through with it. Why would the guy have an affair anyway? I know you'll pay for it in the final judgement day, but you should also pay for it now.

Yes mcfuddy, we all have to pay for our sins now or on the day of judgement too.
I suppose you are right. If she had told him beforehand that she would commit suiside, then it was his moral duty to see that she didnt. But you cant hold on to a realationship by blackmail. It just detoriates more and more. Besides, another point is how was he to know she was serious of suiside. Its all a big mess. Thanks. I needed to know and clear my mind and you are the only person who has responded to it.
