Yesterday my hubby brought home a 4 months old Doberman puppy. I have heard that it likes only non-veg items. I don't have any problem in feeding the dog with chicken and meat. But can I give beef to a puppy. What is the feeding pattern for a Doberman puppy and what foods can I give him?

We raise Boston Terriers. We take them to the Flea Market to sell. Many people commented on the health and condition of our dogs. They ask what we feed them. We feed our babies Iams puppy food, it's in a yellow bag. We don't feed our dogs canned food at all unless a little one is having trouble getting started, then we'll supplement a spoon full here and there. Then they graduate up to the adult formula. I like it because it helps their stools stay firm and not mushy. It is a dog food that really works for us. And always make sure they have lots and lots of fresh cool water. I live in the south and it's nothing to have to change thier water all through-out the day.

that is nice to know. I live in an Asian country. I think these foods will not be available in my country. Still I will try if I can get them. Also thanks for the tips that you had given about giving water to my pet.Have a great time with your pets.

Hi, the first thing I would do is get on the phone to my vet and see what he recommends, he should be able to advise you on different choices you can make for your puppy. Above all you want to make sure it's a well balanced formula. Have a good time with your baby.
