England's ODI Captain, Paul Collingwood, has been banned for four ODI's due to the slow over rate in the 4th match against Newzealand. After the announcement of the ban, Paul Collingwood gestured that he would pick 6 spinners and tell them to bowl their overs quickly :D do u think this ban on the captain of the team is justified? is he alone responsible? and is the ban of 4 ODI's not too much?

I think getting banned for slow over rate is OK as the new rule states that "instead of overs being reduced, the captains will get a ban" but a 4 match ban is not at acceptable. Yes the captain may take his time to set fields and that may delay proceedings but its also the bowlers who cause the playing period to increase, so they must also get the stick.

yup, you can have match fine. but a ban for 4 ODI's is a big punishment i guess for slow over rate
