I seldom perform spelling checks when I post because my browser automatically marks out the wrong words as I type. When I type something wrong, I immediately change it.

Honestly I don't most of the time. I just type so fast that I don't get to check for typing errors anymore. I do try to be more conscious about it, so I try to stop and check it out. LOL!

Sometimes I wish I could edit what I post after I post it. I am really particular about my spelling. That's why I can't wait to hit 500 posts when I can copy and paste. That way, I can run my posts through a spell check, paste them here, and submit them without having to worry about a spelling error. Readers of my work may not be nitpicky, but I am and just seeing an error of mine grinds me.

Do you write out you instead of texting, you know you should, as its really irritating to a lot of us to stumble through all the abbreviations of texting when you should be using english words in responses or discussions not u r for you are, stop with the 'text messaging as this doesnt fly in responces,or comments, or discussions either.I try my best to correct any errors in my responses before I hit post response. no shortcuts for me.

Most of the time, I do check. MyLot makes it so much easier bu underlining words that are spelled incorrectly so I just make it a point to submit my replies only when all the red underlines are gone. But I only do this to improve on my own spelling. I don't mind if other people post discussions without checking on spelling as long as I can still understand what they're trying to drive at. Unlike other members, spelling isn't a big thing for me. It's more the content that matters. :)

Yes, I often check for spelling errors. But sometimes when I get lazy I just type quickly and hit post. If I find that I had a spelling error, I had to add another comment again to apologize for the error.
