u know, new advances in techneology habe made communicating with our friends, families and work colleagues faster and more convenient than 10 or 20 years ago. some people like the greater speed and ease of communication. other people find the pace of modern life stressful, and prefer a slower pace of life, when people would visit more in each other's homes, sit on front porches and talk about the day's or weeks' events. how do u prefer to communicate with your family, or friends? by phone, email, letter or in person?

I always prefer emails to contact friends. At times, I also call by phone. It depends upon the time I have. If I have enough time to chat with my friends, I prefer phone. But if I have a limited time and want to say a hi to my friend,I prefer mail. Because if I ring up and if the conversation goes on without a stop, them my other works will be affected. I don't like to waste the time unplanned. So it always depends upon the time factor. But more than mail, I think phone calls would be more personal. It can also help the other person know that you are there for him. Because when the other friend hears your voice, it would be more nice than just a typed mail. So phone calls are better than the mails.

In person, of course. That's still my preferred way of communicating with my friends. However, I'm very far away from them as of the moment so emails, phone, or chat will do.

If these people I meet through internet, email/chatting or texting is best way to communicate but if these person is my offline friend or family then I would prefer talking them in person.

it depends on how far we are from each other. if it's about our family and friends around me, i prefer to use our ancient communication method: just meet them, sometimes also by phone. but if it's about our long distance friends and family, i prefer to use email or text messages.

I have friends and relatives from other country that communicate with me regularly.I call them sometimes but sometimes we talk in the internet. If they can't catch me online they will just send me an email. All these type of communications works fine for me.

I feel there is nothing like communicating in person. There is expression involved in communicating in person which you cannot get by any other form. Email and phone is great as they serve the purpose of communicating immediately and quickly.
