Do you eat midnight snacks and does it affect your figure?

I noticed my son gaining weight these days and I was asking him if he is not watching his diet. He told me that he has developed the habit of waking up at midnight to take snacks and he could not get over it. Well, I told him to control himself otherwise he will go back to his old plump days when he was just a child. How about you, do you also have this habit and does it have the same effect on you?

Hi salonga, I had recently developed a habit of getting up at around 1AM and my taste buds would be calling for anything chocolate. I would always have home made peanut butter bars on hand but if I didn't there was always store bought candy bars on hand. I would have it with a glass of vanilla flavoured milk. I was doing this for months on end and I never gained a pound. How disappointed I was. I mean I wasn't doing it just to gain weight the habit just started out of nowhere and vanished out of nowhere as well. But I feel it was a way to comfort myself cause during that time I was under alot of stress. Now I am more happy and comfortable with my life so I sleep through the night easily and don't wake up craving midnight chocolate!
