How do you make money playing on-line games?

I've been on a couple sites lately that say you can earn money by playing games on-line but they don't really explain how this works. Does anyone here make money by playing games and if so, can you explain how it works? Do you "win" if you get the high score, or is it like gambling where you pay money to be able to play and then get paid if you win?

Ok, I am a member of this one site where they start you off with money and you can play their games for a chance to win more. Plus, they also give you the chance to earn more money to play with by doing "boosters". Which some are free to do and others you can choose to pay for trials or whatever. I am addicted to it..lol..I have gotten others addicted as well. If you want the link, let me know and i can send it to ya. Or I can send it to your email. It really is a fun game site. And i have made money on it.
